“People detained against their will in psychiatric institutions have no choice as to whether they are admitted and how long they have to stay. They are not given any information on risk of Covid-19 in unit or other information, and forced to stay against their will. No community supports are being provided for people when they are discharged from units, or alternative measures to treat people are not in place.”
